Tulloch Developments has now undertaken the construction of many play areas throughout the islands, including several in Lerwick.
Project Description
In recent years, Tulloch Developments have been successful in winning various play area contracts from the local council. We have a small team of experienced operatives for installation of play equipment and wet-pour safety surfacing.
This is specialised work, involving the creation of a rubber safety surface below the equipment. The lower layer of rubber is created from recycled, crumbed car tyres mixed with a specially-formulated resin and the top layer is made from new rubber. The thickness of the rubber base depends on the height of the equipment and the associated risk. We also undertook the assembly and installation of the new play equipment, which has been supplied by Kompan.
